Prior to the 1.14 texture update, boats in all wood types had green areas on their bottom side texture to represent moss growth. This was not considered when the retexturing of boats was done.
I have not attached images of any of the boat and raft variants added since 1.19 and above as there was no before.
This issue is Invalid, as it is critique of an artistic design change instead of describing a bug or problem.
