Bonemealing the ground does not create Firefly Bushes in cases where it should

Using bone meal does not grow new Firefly Bushes when applying it to areas where they should be able to generate.

This affects:

  • Swamps

  • Mangrove Swamps (They do not generate there naturally either, which is reported separately in MC-279939)

  • Rivers

For bushes, the reported behavior is already being tracked in MC-279917.

@unknown Thank you for the notice! I have updated the report accordingly.

@unknown, please do not blindly add 1.21.4 as affecting this (among other) issue/s. Firefly bushes did not even exist in that version, so it's impossible to affect it. Please be careful when creating issues to ensure all information is correct.
