Right-clicking on a trader llama while using an item will always produce a trader llama sound "llama bleats angry" .But if I don't hold the item and keep clicking on the llama, they won't make a sound.I think it is a little bug.

The sound plays because the player cannot mount horse variants or llamas when they are holding an item, the audio queue is to relay that to the player. This is intentional.
