HUGE over-spawning of ocelots

Didn't know where to post this issue so it's going here. It's becoming ridiculous at how many ocelots there are. If you spend even a few minutes in the jungle biome, ocelots overrun the place and even the surrounding areas. I have (with no exaggeration) over a thousand ocelots in my nearest jungle. I resulted in going as far away as willingly possible from a jungle. Please solve this issue😞
