Confirming beacon with items in hand makes items disappear, then drop on ground

When a stack of items is held, one right-clicked into the feeding slot, and the check is clicked while holding the stack, the items will seem to disappear, and will drop on the ground if the inventory or chest gui is opened, or reappear held if another block gui is opened
