Crafting Smooth Sand Stone into Smooth Sand Stone

I had smooth sand stone in my inventory and thought it was regular sand stone and put it into my mini crafting bench and realized it was already smooth sand stone but gave me the option to turn it into smooth sand stone anyway which shouldn't be possible
