While in a minecart, you can not see hunger bar.

While me and a friend were on my minecraft server, we did not see the hunger bar in minecarts.

What I expected to happen was...:
Ability to see the hunger bar.

What actually happened was...:
The hunger bar was gone.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. put down a minecart on a rail
2. hop into the minecart
3. you should not see the hunger bar...
