Everyone is Steve.

I was playing on minecraft then went on a server and realized everyone is Steve.

*What I expected to happen was everyone to have different skins, but instead of that, everyone was steve. And it wasn't just that server. I tried different servers as well, but still the same. So I called up my freind, and I asked him to get on a server. Then he went on a server and complained that everyone was Steve, so I know its not just my minecraft game. Can you please look up the bug and try to fix it.
