Hello, I am experiencing an issue when trying to connect to a Realm server in Minecraft Java Edition. Every time I try to join, the following error appears in the console:
Internal exception java.net.socketexception: connection reset
This issue only affects me, as my friends are able to join the server without any problems, and I have tried several solutions without success (restarting Minecraft, reinstalling the game, checking the connection, etc.).
Steps taken to resolve the issue:
Reinstall Minecraft and delete the
.minecraft
folder.Check the network connection and perform ping tests.
Try different versions of Minecraft (with version 1.21.5 being the latest).
Verify firewall and antivirus settings.
Switch to a wired network connection.
Use the latest version of Java.
Additional details:
Minecraft version: 1.21.5
Operating system: (Please include your operating system here, for example, Windows 10)
Java: (Installed Java version)
I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue, as it is preventing me from playing with my friends on my Realm server. If you need any more information or further details, please feel free to ask.
Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
tiibu
