When I picked up an enchanted fishing rod in Survival mode and later opened the Creative inventory, the item retained its enchanted glint (visual shimmering effect), but it had no actual enchantment effects listed. The same issue occurred with a golden helmet I found — it also had the visual glint but no functional enchantments attached.
