NB! I could not add other versions to this issue, but this also affected 1.21.1 - 1.21.5 including all snapshot versions that could be opened into a multiplayer server or a realm server.
What is the issue:
Getting a java. socketsecurity connection reset error after only a few minutes or just a few seconds of gameplay on any online version of the game between versions 1.21 - 25w16a.
Suggested fixes from helpcenter and googling that did not work.
Restarting minecraft, the launcher, my computer and my internett router. (elso resetting my router)
Trying to log out and in of any minecraft services waiting around 5 minutes than trying again.
Refreshing the internett by using cmd and ipconfig release, flush and renew.
Manualy adding a DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Installing a new version of java, and also redownloading minecraft.
Installing and trying to connect to any server with a VPN. But this just instantly kicked me out without even letting me enter the servers.
Not tried:
Reinstalling the computer and redownloading minecraft to see if that could work.
Questions for the support team:
Why is this issue closed and marked as resolved in january 2025 when this issue is still appearing. It can not be marked as fixed and no longer tracked if lots of people are still experiencing this. I searches trough so many replies, reports and other websites such as reddit, minecraft helpcenter, youtube, forums and so on where people are still experiencing this issue to this day. Where some have managed to get a fix but others have not.
Environment
Regular gameplay with 300 upload and 150 download capacity, not issues reported by my internett provider, neither any issues with my router or connected DNS server.
