Tamed animals no longer sit when their owner changes dimension

In previous versions (1.21.4 and earlier), tamed animals would sit when their owner changed dimensions. However, in version 25w02a, this behavior has been removed. The pet no longer sits and is free to move around when the owner changes dimensions. To observe this behavior, it is necessary to have a second person to watch the pet, as it will no longer sit when the owner changes dimensions.

Steps to reproduce

1. Tame a dog in the overworld.

2. Leave the dog in a standing position in the Overworld.

3. Have the second player observe the dog while the owner enters a Nether portal.

4. Once the owner is in the Nether, observe that the dog does not sit and is free to move around in loaded chunks.

Expected behavior

The dog should sit when the owner changes dimensions and not stand up until the owner comes back to the original dimension, as it did in versions 1.21.4 and earlier.

Observed behavior

The dog no longer sits after the dimension change and is free to move around in loaded chunks. This can lead to dangerous behaviors, such as attacking skeletons and getting killed, or even accidentally passing through a Nether portal, which is not intended.

This is especially problematic in multiplayer when other players are in the area and cause mobs to spawn, increasing the chance of the animal engaging in combat or getting hurt.

Please consider addressing this issue, losing a trusted companion due to an unintended behavior can be heartbreaking.
