When a player is in the "Video Settings" menu with fullscreen mode disabled, the "GUI Scale" options are correctly limited (e.g., to 1, 2, Auto). If the player then enables fullscreen mode while still within the "Video Settings" menu, the available "GUI Scale" options do not update to include the higher values (e.g., 3, 4) that are normally available in fullscreen mode. The options remain limited until the player exits and re-enters the "Video Settings" menu.
Steps to Reproduce:
Launch Minecraft Java Edition.
Ensure the game is not in fullscreen mode.
Navigate to
Options
->Video Settings
.Observe the "GUI Scale" options. They should be limited (e.g., 1, 2, Auto).
While still in the "Video Settings" menu, toggle the "Fullscreen" setting to
ON
.Observe the "GUI Scale" options again without exiting the "Video Settings" menu.
Expected Result:
After enabling "Fullscreen" to ON
(Step 5), the "GUI Scale" options within the "Video Settings" menu should immediately refresh to display all available scales for fullscreen mode, such as 1, 2, 3, 4, and Auto (the exact maximum can depend on screen resolution).
Actual Result:
After enabling "Fullscreen" to ON
(Step 5), the "GUI Scale" options do not refresh. They remain limited to the set available in non-fullscreen mode (e.g., 1, 2, Auto). The additional options (like 3, 4) only appear after backing out of the "Video Settings" menu and then re-entering it.
Environment
Windows 10
