Using a food item on a horse does not create food particles

The bug

Giving food to a horse to reduce its temper won’t display visual indications that the food was given. In the case of breeding or feeding, heart particles are displayed, in the case of tempering, food eating particles should be displayed (matching bedrock edition)

How to reproduce

1. Launch Java Edition Minecraft

2. Summon a horse

3. Give a carrot to the horse

4. Repeat the process with Bedrock Edition Minecraft

5. Compare visual effects

Expected result

Giving food to a horse to tame it should produce “food consuming” particle effects, corresponding to the food given to the horse

Actual result

No particles in Java Edition
