[MC-298506] Dropping the tool while breaking a block preserves the mining progress

Use a tool to break a block.
Press the Q key to drop the tool.
→ ❌ The mining progress will be retained.
Continue to mine the block empty-handed until the block is completely destroyed.
→ ❌ The block will reappear immediately after it disappears. It will be thought to have been mined empty-handed, and after a while, it will drop items. With a tool in hand, the block will drop items instantly, saving the durability of one tool and allowing another tool to consume durability even if it's not used to break the block.

If you do this with a pickaxe, it's more complicated.
