Tried to add data packs to my java edition realm the only terrible way we have and that is by downloading the world and then you are able to add/remove data packs.
Only problem is i cant re-upload my world to the realms because it exceeds 5GB… What am i supposed to do? Realms have such good potential but i am really close to deleting my realm and starting an actual paid server through a different company because this is ridiculous and I am sure it bothers many people…

Sorry I didn't understand the stuff because I read quickly, anyway try to cancel the realm subscription (save the realm worlds) and try again, or check that it is compatible for realm
Sorry again and see you ❤️
Thank you for the response. Though I do have follow up questions for you.
Why would canceling my realm and re-subscribing to realms help with the fact that there is a cap on world sizes that can be submitted to realms??? That doesn’t help me at all. I don’t know if you’re a dev or just a player but there desperately needs to be a way to manage data packs for Java realms because this is ridiculous. It’s a very simple data pack I added so it should be compatible with realms. I have added many data packs and have had no issue other than the fact than my world size is now over 5GB. What am I supposed to do about any of this? I’m sorry but your response is not helpful in the slightest…
Hi! They're just another player like you. Unfortunately, the maximum size cap is not a bug itself. Requesting an increase makes it a feature request rather than a reportable bug on this bug tracker.
Hi, I suggest you format your computer or try to free up some space on your PC, or try to see if the Data-Pack is compatible for your computer or your version.
