Villagers not picking up food and no green particles when they recognize bed. They do sleep in the bed though. Villagers do not breed as they cant pick up food. There is a video in the comments.

Please check what the "mobGriefing" gamerule is set to. If it is "false", villagers won't be able to pick up items.
