[MC-2988] Spawning

When you spawn, you begin to lag, and you must destroy the block below you to remove the lag.

You're going to have to post a lot more information than this. What is your system configuration (goes in the Environment section), are you using any mods? Is this on the client, or when you connect to a server? Please be as specific as possible.

Well, there are no mods on my MC, yes, I log in from my client, my pc is nvidia geforce 9800, core 2 duo with 2.80 GHz 2.27 GHz, oh and it is not the lag, in fact in 1.4.4 your gamescreen begin to shake until you break the block under you, and also you have chances to spawn underground 5-7 blocks below the surface.

Nope, the main problem was that your screen begins to shake, like if your legs were stuck in half of the block so that you have to destroy it to clear the shaking effect.

Actually MC-2578 sounds just like your problem, but this is marked as duplicate of MC-2416.
