The bug
In 1.21.6, when editing text above what is currently written, the cursor (the bottom line "_") does not seem to appear when at the end of a line of text, except if you're selecting the last line. This is only a visual bug, from what I can tell.
Any world in this version is affected. I tested in both 1.21.4 and 1.21.5, and the bug was not present.
The game mode of the player does not matter. I tested Creative mode and Survival mode in 1.21.5 where the cursor appeared and in 1.21.6 where it did not appear.
Steps to reproduce
Take a book and quill.
Go to any page and write two or more lines of text.
Select the end of any line except the last one.
Observe the visibility of the cursor.
Observed behavior
The cursor will simply go invisible.
Expected behavior
The cursor would not be invisible.
Additional information
Normal book and quill.
No plug-ins or mods.
Language: English (US)
The Environment field is supposed to only contain PC details.
