Some transparent blocks, such as non coloured glass panes, chains, iron bars aren’t transparent at all. The glass panes show just the solid colour gray while the chains and the iron bars show black in between the texture.
Leaf blocks too, doesn’t matter the kind, black in between whilst playing on Fabolous! graphics.

I have been using Modrinth for the past few months but I couldn’t wait to try the new update hence the fresh installation of the Minecraft Launcher along with the new installation of 1.21.6 and I can assure you that there is no texture pack active.
We do not have enough information to find the cause of this issue.

I think you have a problem with the game files, try checking their integrity. It is also possible that you have a modified client or have a resource pack.
