In Minecraft versions 1.21 and later, when a dispenser throws a chicken egg and it hits a mob, the mob levitates upwards, which is unintended behavior. In previous versions (before 1.21), the egg hitting a mob only causes damage without levitation, which is the expected and correct behavior.
