When joining a server on the most recent version on a computer with the given specs, the game freezes. Doesn’t happen consistently, it’s quite random. Only the rendering stops, input and movment still works. The game doesn’t crash, it’s just the screen buffer that stops being updated. When resizing the window, old pixels remain and new pixels are just plain black.
Has only been happening since updating to 1.21.6; The complexity of the world doesn’t seem to affect anything, tried it on a server with a void world and on a server with a survival world.
Environment
Intel Core i5-9400 CPU @ 2.90GHz
Intel UHD Graphics 630
16 Gigabytes of RAM, no leaks, allocating more ram doesn't help.
Server software: Vanilla

Also, please attach a screenshot of your F3 debug screen or show it in the video. Lastly, please state the version you used to play before 1.21.6 that you know is unaffected by this issue.
Before updating to 1.21.6 (and subsequently 1.21.7) I played on 1.21.4. Issues first seems to be appearing in 1.21.5
1.21.7:
[media]1.21.4:
[media]It appears that you are using an outdated graphics driver. The latest graphics driver available for your device — Intel® Core™ i5-9400 Processor — is version 31.0.101.2135 (March 2025), but you are on version 27.20.100.7990 (August 2020).
Please try installing the latest graphics driver and see if that resolves the issue. The manufacturer of your device provides a download at the following page: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/776137/intel-7th-10th-gen-processor-graphics-windows.html
If the issue persists, please record a new video of the issue occurring and attach it to this report. Be sure to show your F3 debug screen in that video, if possible.
I have the same problem, but just updating the driver to latest version didn't work.
I’m using the video processor, Intel(R) UHD Graphic 620.
Could you please record a video of this happening and attach it to this report, so that we can see what it actually looks like?
