Tridents just dont do damage sometimes, and have chance of disappearing when hitting the ground afterwards

When throwing a Trident at a target, it will sometimes just not do any damage and bounce off the target as if its immune, and after falling to the ground has a chance of just disappearing, however if the trident has loyalty on it, it will return to after few seconds after disappearing

first attachment is when I discovered the glitch. I throw it, it does no damage, it disappears, it reappears after a bit because it has loyalty.
second attachment is the Trident doing no damage with loyalty, it similar to the last clip but doesn’t take nearly as long to return to me, implying it doesn’t disappear.
third attachment is 2 clips stitched together of a regular Trident doing no damage and then disappearing because I didn’t initially notice that the Trident had disappeared so hit the clip button again once I noticed.

Edit: It for some reason uploaded second clip twice, so the one where the normal trident blanks and disappears is just not there, and it wont let me add any new attachments
