server frozen inventory glitch

I was playing skyblock in the server cubecraft, when suddenly Out of nowhere after leaving the skyblock hub back into my island I was unable to move anything in my inventory. Everytime I clicked something, it would work for a fraction of a second before snapping back to its original place. I cannot put stuff in chests or any other stations, but i can still do things like attack mobs, take damage and eat food leading me to believe that this has nothing to do with my internet connection. Something might have happened when I went back to my island, but i am not sure what it could have been. What is even stranger is that i can still move things around in my inventory while im in the skyblock hub, but i cannot use those items. I want this glitch fixed so that I do not see this annoying glitch happen again. Thank you.
