The bug
When a piston destroys its own redstone wire, it disappears for a split second.
Steps to reproduce
Build the setup shown in the attached screenshot.
Press the lever. This issue only occurs after pressing the lever.
Place redstone dust on the cracked stone bricks.
Observed behavior
The piston head will disappear for a small amount of time.
Expected behavior
The piston would destroy the redstone wire and then retract.
