Quickly placing two pistons in one block pos make a piston head glitch if they are activated by redstone

If you place two pistons (activated with redstone) having different directions, an additional piston head appears. To reproduce, place a redstone block, then lower the tick rate using the command /tick rate 1, then quickly use the “use button” (right-click) on two different points (points are shown on the image) of the redstone block in a way that creates two pistons having different directions.
