Mobs tied with a lasso look back when pulled by the player

I recently went looking for some animals to add to my village, and when I pulled them with a lasso while running, the animals kept looking back. I tested it by tying each mob with a rope and then attaching them to each other, like a caravan, but the bug persists. I found it strange, so I decided to report it to you.
