I went to get into my world ive been working on for a while and it said it failed to load chunks then i look around and it switched a lot of the chunks around me causing a lt of my buildings to be distorted. I dont know how to fix it and undo what the world did.

Inside your
.minecraftfolder there should be a folderdebugcontaining reports about the misplaced chunks. Could you attach those?Also did you use any mods or external programs on this world (e.g. world edit)?
Also the logs from the time you got the errors might be helpful, if you can find them in the
.minecraft/logsfolder.
