You can switch the worlds of expired realms to empty slots, which misleadingly prompts world creation despite no active realms subscription

The Bug:

You can switch the worlds of expired realms to empty slots, which misleadingly prompts world creation despite no active realms subscription.

The player should simply not be able to switch their world to an empty slot if their realms subscription has expired. The fact that you’re able to do this is misleading and confusing, and when attempting to create the said world, the user is presented with an error as expected.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Navigate to the realms menu, select an expired realm, and hit the “Configure” button.

  2. Switch your world to an empty slot and observe how you are prompted to create a world.

  3. Create the world and observe how you receive an error because you do not have an active realms subscription.

Observed Behavior:

You can switch the worlds of expired realms to empty slots, which misleadingly prompts world creation despite no active realms subscription.

Expected Behavior:

You would not be able to switch the worlds of expired realms to empty slots.
