Chests sometimes get stuck in inverted states after being interacted with by copper golems

The Bug:

Chests sometimes get stuck in inverted states after being interacted with by copper golems.

When you punch a Copper Golem right before it is about to drop an item into a chest or right after picking up an item out of a chest the chest it was interacting with gets inverted states, that is when opened it is displayed as closed and vice versa.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Summon a copper golem, and place down a chest and copper chest with some items inside of them.

  2. As the copper golem is about to start or stop searching the chests, quickly attack it.

  3. If the state of the chest didn’t get inverted, repeat the above steps.

Observed Behavior:

Chests sometimes get stuck in inverted states.

Expected Behavior:

Chests would not get stuck in inverted states.

This also affects copper chests in some cases

This might be the same issue as MC-300194. I am unable to tell for sure, however, since this report unfortunately does not include reproduction steps.

Resolved MC-300194 as a duplicate of this report. Further testing concludes that this ticket and the mentioned ticket are the same.

Also noticed as per MC-300706 animations are inverted too. Noted also that block updates, oxidation state and if the copper is waxed does not change/fix it.
