The Copper Golem, despite easily fitting in one block-tall environment, cannot pathfind in it. Infact they can’t even path find through open doors and they can even get stuck under a 3 by 3 platform. If I want my iron golem to path find outside to collect items from a farm, I can’t just make a tunnel or open some doors and call it a day, I literally have to put a 2 by 1 hole in my house, which, as you know, lets in a lot more in than a Copper Golem.
Environment
Anything that isn't an empty 2x1 space, they just don't want to do anything if it's smaller. It's like they unionize and go on strike until you give them some comfortable headspace. Which is a problem because I started a whole new world just to build a house with a bunch of secret tunnels that these guys could navigate to organize my base, like a bunch of fairy tale Oompa Loompa's, or an army of Cinderella robot mice with OCD. But I can't do that simply because these guys refuse to use my tunnels. I even made a room for the Golem in my house one that he can't get into because of the pathfinding issues.
Also, something nice would be to have an optional bed for the golems that they use at day or night, so they aren't constantly checking chests while my character tries to sleep.
