Game Crash When Breaking Beehive with Silk Touch (1–3 Bees) + Left-Clicking in Inventory

When breaking a beehive containing 1, 2, or 3 bees using a tool with Silk Touch, then left-clicking the beehive in the inventory, the game immediately crashes.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Obtain a tool with Silk Touch (e.g., pickaxe, axe).

  2. Locate or place a beehive with 1–3 bees inside.

  3. Break the beehive with the Silk Touch tool (beehive drops intact).

  4. Open the inventory and left-click the obtained beehive.

  5. Result: Game crashes.

Expected Behavior:
The beehive should behave normally when clicked in the inventory (e.g., move, place, or stack).

Additional Notes:

  • Tested in snapshot 25w31a (singleplayer, Creative/Survival).

  • OS Windows 11

  • Does not occur with empty beehives or beehives containing 0 bees.

  • One of a crash logs: The game crashed: mousereleased event handler
