[MC-300614] not able to eat food in main hand

When holding food in the main right hand, the eating particles and noises are produced, but the food is not being consumed. The hunger bar doesn’t fill, the food is just endlessly being eaten (until stopping the right click), and stack number of the food does not decrease. Relaunching doesn’t help.

Are you playing on a server? This seems to be server lag, based on the fact that the ghast in the background also doesn’t seem to be responding well (it looks jittery).
