[MC-300689] Items now sit on shelves

they look so out of place, the bedrock approach should be taken for the sake of decoration and functionality.

However, this issue is Working As Intended.

The behavior you have reported is working as intended: Please refer to the 25w32a changelog, which is quoted below.

Items on the Shelf have been repositioned to sit on the Shelf

Please note that mechanics of the game may change between updates.
Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.
