/playsound minecraft:music.credits range

When the command, “/playsound minecraft:music.credits master @playername” is entered, the music continues no matter where you go in the overworld. This is not the case for other music like “minecraft:music.creative” or such, where once you leave the area the music stops as it is stuck in that location once entered. It doesn’t seem to matter whether or not you type in block, ambient, player, etc for the credits or normal music when commanded. I’m not sure whether or not the distance to the credits is a bug, or if other songs shouldn’t disappear and be location dependent as they are currently!
