Guardians, despite being able to survive indefinitely out of water, cannot enter boats/bamboo rafts in the recent snapshot. This is inconsistent with other hostile mobs of similar size, very much so with the Drowned mob, which is also underwater and can survive indefinitely out of water. This is also inconsistent with mobs that don’t have sitting animations like villagers, which can ride boats.
In terms of gameplay this adds unnecessary difficulty in the transporting of guardians for decoration purposes.
