When you shoot an arrow on top of a wooden pressure plate that's on top of a block of tnt, it get stuck midair once the tnt is ignited, and the only way to get it unstuck without picking it up is to use a piston. This is most likely because as soon as it lands on the tnt, the block disappears, so it thinks its sitting on a block that no longer exists
