When searching for “exposed“, “weathered“ or “oxidized“ in the creative inventory the copper bars, copper chains, copper lanterns, lightning rods, copper chests and copper golem statues are in the order grouped by item and not state of wax like all other waxable copper blocks.

The issue of the bars and chains appearing before anything else duplicates MC-300687.
As for the lantern, rods, chests, and statues, these are all sorted correctly. Items in the search bar are ordered by their appearance in the creative inventory. It starts with building blocks, and goes all the way to operator utilities.
