I place a piston facing any cardinal direction (N,W,S,E), then a redstone block on top of the piston. I place another redstone block adjacent to the first redstone block. If the first redstone block is broken then the second redstone block, the piston stays powered.
Also this can be repeated using a piston facing upwards. Place a piston facing upwards with a redstone block on top of the pistonβs head. Then power the piston with a second redstone block adjacent to the bottom of the piston. Break the second redstone block, and the piston will remain powered.
