The chicken raises its head up for no reason

I played on version 1.21.8 and one of the chickens when I was in the inventory raised its head up for no reason, as far as I know chickens can only look at the player, well, or pay attention,
it couldn't be another player, I was completely alone on the server.
I tested chickens with other mobs and she never raised her head at them, even if they were standing above her.
I found a similar incident with golems when they also raised their heads up for no reason, but nothing specific was said there.
I want to understand how and why this happened.

normal behavior? chickens can look around you know

@Alyx this might be true, but chickens never raise their heads except when a player approaches them

recreate this issue in vanilla Minecraft

can’t reproduce in vanilla

@Vincent2200 this is vanilla, I'll try to recreate it

@betik_ if this is an older version of minecraft then there is no point in fixing it
