Steps to reproduce the issue:
Place a chest with a comparator reading its contents.
Use a Copper Golem to insert items into the chest.
Observe the comparator output.
Expected result:
When the Copper Golem inserts items into the chest, the comparator should immediately update its signal strength to reflect the new number of items inside.
Actual result:
When the Copper Golem inserts items, the comparator does not update. The items remain in the chest but the comparator signal is stuck as if the chest has not been updated. Once a player manually interacts with the chest (by adding or removing the same items), the comparator then updates correctly and the items start flowing as expected.
Screenshots description:
The Copper Golem has inserted items into the chest, but no signal reaches the repeater.
It is confirmed that a full stack of items is inside the chest.
The player takes the stack of items out of the chest.
The player puts the items back into the same chest.
The items begin to move because the comparator has now updated.
It is confirmed that the signal now reaches the repeater.
Environment
Minecraft version: 25w35a
Edition: Java Edition
Platform: PC (Windows 11)
