The gamerule that enables and disables command blocks is inconsistent between Java and Bedrock.
Observed Result:
The gamerule in Java is “enableCommandBlocks”
Expected Result:
The gamerule in Java should be “CommandBlocksEnabled” to achieve parity with Bedrock.
Can be easily fixed by changing the Java gamerule to “CommandBlocksEnabled”.
