Suspicious block item doesn't display properly when brushed

I was messing around with structures on a flat world and in the process placed down a warm ocean ruin. For the joke of it I took the brush and saw if I could brush it but as I was brushing it the item did not display properly during the brushing sequence and only dropped after the brushing process was finished. I was expecting the item to appear within the suspicious sand block while brushing as it normally would, but it didn’t.
