I was playing hardcore trying to beat Minecraft, but in the caves or the abandoned mines, no dangerous mobs appear. I've been playing for 20 hours and they don't show up

doesnt appear to only be hostile mobs, tried to load my world and every mob was gone except for bees, who seemed to have escaped only by being in their hive when it loaded and came out after. spiders, piglins, villagers, sheep, cows, all gone. paintings and item frames however have not disappeared. dont know if this is the same bug but it is affecting my hardcore world specifically.

I think that the light level is >= 1 so mobs don’t spawn
