Unlike every other zombie mob, Drowneds are unable to charge with a spear. They can only jab.
Reproduce
Summon a drowned
/summon minecraft:drowned ~ ~1 ~ {PersistenceRequired:1,equipment:{mainhand:{count:1,id:golden_spear}}}Have it hit you

It jabbed

It would charge
