Items with deeply nested NBT <256 newly crash on loading

Items with NBT nested deeply (tested with ~100 layers) crash with exit code -1 in 25w44a but load seamlessly in 25w43a
Attached is a saved hotbar file with the item that caused me to notice this bug, and a (seemingly unhelpful) crash log

Steps to reproduce:
obtain an item with nbt nested to about 100 layers (exact threshold untested), can be done with the attached file
load the item in 25w44a such as by opening the saved hotbars screen, or by placing the item in a world and loading the world

Expected result:
in 24w43a the item loads just fine and functions as intended
Deeper nested nbt (>256) has always crashed
