The bug:
Z-Fighting appears on Nautilus and variants of it near their mouths.
Z-Fighting also occurs on an area of the “coral” on the warm model, and more areas on both variants, with a custom texture that fills in all usually transparent pixels.
A piece of geometry on the coral variant is slightly misaligned, creating a gap/line in the texture. (geometry issue images in the comments)
A more noticeable effect due to the custom texture with higher contrast between the 2 z-fighting planes.
Z-Fighting revealed by a texture utilising usually transparent pixels.
Steps to reproduce:
Spawn a zombie nautilus or nautilus, move a few blocks back and zoom in with a spyglass whilst the mouth texture is diagonal to the body.
For the secondary z-fighting issue: create a custom texture for the nautilus warm variant with a contrasting texture and follow the steps above.
For the geometry issue, repeat the steps above and focus on the highlighted area.
Expected result:
No z-fighting occurring and corrected model.
Actual Result:
Z-fighting and model glitches.
