Some mipmap strategies make dark lines appear on the edges of pixels

While working on a resourcepack I’ve noticed that for block textures, for which either the mean or the dark_cutout mipmap strategy is specified in the corresponding .mcmeta file, dark lines start to appear while looking at them up-close. The dark lines are visible on the edges between transparent and opaque pixels

It seems to affect the vanilla glass and leaf textures, as well as any block textures changed via resourcepacks to use any of the mipmap strategies specified above

Reproduction steps:

  • (Optional) Enable any resourcepack that includes .mcmeta files with the mean or dark_cutout mipmap strategies specified, example pack included

  • Look at any block with a cutout/translucent texture with any of the specified mipmap strategies
