Pipewire audio output broken on Linux

On Fedora 43, Pipewire audio used to work without issue. Suddenly, it stopped working. I did not update Minecraft, nor the launcher, nor any relevant system library before and after it stopped working. Using ALSOFT_DRIVERS=pulse is a workaround to the issue.

Attached are the ALSOFT_LOGLEVEL=4 logs for pipewire and pulseaudio, with the same host setup. Interestingly, the pulseaudio logs show that it is continuously picking up my output device (Got deviceโ€ฆ), for no particular reason. Also the selected buffers size seem to be quite different (512 / 512 in pipewire vs. 960 / 2880 in pulseaudio). When the pipewire backend is running, I do see the stream in pavucontrol, but the audio meter never moves, so it appears that the audio context is setup correctly, but simply no sound is generated.
