The game audio is not heard on the right side of my headphones or speakers. I have tried deleting the game versions, uninstalling the launcher and reinstalling it, but it still does not work (my headphones and speakers work fine with other applications, this only happens with Minecraft). This issue occurs not only in the latest versions but in all versions.
Environment
Linux Debian 10.13; Java 11.0.23

Hello, how are you? Thanks for responding. No, installing Java 21 didn’t fix the error, but I was able to solve it. If it’s helpful, I’ll explain the solution: OpenAL was making Minecraft sound come out of only one side, so I had to create a special configuration in the terminal to force the audio to MONO:
nano /tmp/alsoft.conf.Then I had to paste this:
[general]
channels = monoSave and close the file.
Finally, run Minecraft from the terminal with a command to make this take effect:
ALSOFT_CONF=/tmp/alsoft.conf minecraft-launcher.And that’s it :D (all with ChatGPT xd)
Hi!
Thank you for your report!
However, this issue has been temporarily closed as Awaiting Response.
Does this issue persist when you launch the game with Java 21 instead?
This ticket will automatically reopen when you reply. Thanks!
